is a ten-day International Trade Expo taking place from the 11th
to the 20th of July 2003. The event will transform the highly
distinctive London suburb of Brixton into a world stage, illuminating and
celebrating the rich diversity and quality of UK and International Black
creative and cultural industries by bringing together promoters, manufacturers,
producers, service providers, artists, buyers and patrons of products and
services from the Caribbean, Africa, America, Europe and the UK.
This year BBC LONDON 94.9FM is pleased to be supporting Destination
Brixton. Over the next few weeks and months we'll be reporting and

The Drum is delighted to be a partner with the International Trade Expo,
Destination Brixton. The drum, Europe's unique Asian, Caribbean and African

Fridge, Brixton to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 85th Birthday.

Featuring an international cast of over 45 singers,
